We’re so proud of our students and grateful to our project hosts for supporting experiential learning at UMass Boston!
This fall, six teams in my Data Analysis for Marketing Management course at UMass Boston - College of Management conducted a survey-based research project to help a local business gain insights into customer experience, preferences, and behaviors. The students developed surveys, analyzed data, and presented data-driven recommendations to the business in their final class this past Friday. I'm very proud of my students for their dedication and impressive work on this project! A special thank you to our project hosts for their continued collaboration and support in providing this invaluable, real-world experience for our UMass Boston students: Saint Agatha School Milton, Presidential Services, Greater Quincy Childcare Center, Propel2Excel, Body Escape Spa and Salon, UMass Boston - College of Management Graduate Programs. #umassbostonalumni #umassboston #umassbostonstudents

What a high-energy event it was this evening at the Boston Intercontinental Hotel! UMass Boston Alumni Holiday Party was a packed event with more than 450+ alumni. It was great to see business and community leaders with the UMass Boston leadership team with Chancellor Marcelo M Suarez-Orozco, Provost Joe Berger, Vice Chancellor for Finance and Administration Kathleen Kirleis, and the leadership team of the University Advancement.
