Joshua Horniman was born with a severe hearing impairment that wasn’t discovered until he was three years old. His parents noticed that he was behind in speech and development, which led to a hearing test. Since then, he has worn hearing aids daily. Joshua has faced his share of tough days where he felt out of place. Despite these challenges, he never let his "disability" stop him from achieving his goals. He is now racing full-time in the CARS Tour Pro Late Model Series. Every day presents challenges, both on and off the track. After racing, his team has to wait for him to swap his radio earbuds for his hearing aids before discussing the truck's performance. It can be frustrating, but Joshua is living proof that with hard work, the right support, and a positive attitude, you can achieve your goals.
