Mitiq has long been a cornerstone of the quantum open source community. Over 5 years, UF's error-mitigating compiler has grown and opened doors to using quantum devices of today by making sure QEM protocols are accessible to everyone. As the Mitiq ecosystem continues to develop we want to take a chance to look back on how it has evolved and where we think it might go next. 📣 We are so thrilled share that we are a part of the Horizon Europe-awarded Quantum Glass-based Photonic Integrated Circuits (QLASS) project (https://lnkd.in/ecccTFm5), and to be bringing our expertise in quantum open source software to help develop next generation quantum glass-based photonic integrated circuits, and related software, and to explore them as a platforms for quantum computing. We are also very grateful to be working alongside consortium partners Politecnico di Milano, Fondazione Politecnico di Milano, University of Montpellier, CNRS, University of Rome La Sapienza, as well as Ephos, Pixel Photonics and SCHOTT AG.
