The summit brought together changemakers to address shared challenges in the East African region, including extreme poverty, healthcare deficits, and other pressing issues. These challenges require urgent and innovative philanthropic initiatives to drive sustainable impact. Shaping Future Leaders! #UMUN2024 As a delegate, upholding a professional code of conduct is essential. From cultural and formal attire to articulate presentations, every detail matters. Even nations with veto power must adhere to the principles outlined in the UN Charter. Stay tuned as these dynamic young leaders craft impactful resolutions for the Uganda Model United Nations 2024.

Pick a Brand, Build a Brand" In a thought-provoking engagement at Kampala International University chapter, Secretary-General Baguma Richard challenged young minds to unlock their potential for personal growth, social impact, economic progress, and sustainable development in the 21st century. "Framing your mindset is crucial," he noted, emphasizing the importance of aligning one’s potential with opportunities that fit. He encouraged young people to engage in strategic conversations, embrace competitiveness, and cultivate competence as they shape the brand they want to build—and ultimately, the person they aspire to become.
