Giving back has always been apart of my DNA, and when given the opportunity 7.5 years ago to take on the United Planners Financial Services' reachUP initiative, it was a no brainer. When we started bringing in charities to our Connect National Conference (CNC) back in 2019, we didn't know how big this Social and Charitable Responsibility was going to be that we were embarking on. Between advisors, their staff, our Home Office, and over 80 strategic partners, roughly 500 people at our CNC, we have raised over $160k for our charity partners in 6 years. Each year we pick a new charity and try our best to help in all ways possible. We truly take on the word partnership with these charities, and keep giving back throughout the year and years. It's not a "one and done" charitable act for us! United Planners and reachUP not only continue to give to the selected charities, but also give back through the year to other local organizations. Whether it is a blood drive, a food drive, water drive, military care packages, golf tournaments, and the list goes on, we are all committed to this responsibility. We had an amazing night at the #Wealthies Gala and very blessed Sheila Cuffari-Agasi, AIF® took home an award for our LEAPS Program!
