May is #LupusAwarenessMonth – and today is #WorldLupusDay! Lupus affects millions of people, so today and always, let’s show our love and support for all in the Lupus community; including our Members, who work tirelessly to bring the best care to their Lupus patients. Lupus affects each person differently, often with different symptoms. More research is needed to help find treatments, and ultimately, a cure. Specialty Networks encourages you to take time to shine light on lupus, honor every lupus champion, and celebrate all who are making a difference in the Lupus community. This past January, PPS Analytics (A Specialty Networks Company) expanded to Rheumatology. That is a wrap on the Spring 2024 National Rheumatology Conference in San Antonio, TX!  In attendance were over 100 Rheumatologists, Advanced Practice Providers, Administrators, and Industry Partners. Several thought leaders from across the country engaged in many thought-provoking discussions, exchanged ideas, and shared the latest in clinical practices and administration.  Offered at this event was the Spring 2024 Medical Policy Committee Meeting, Roundtable Event, two days of conference sessions, and three afternoon networking events. The Specialty Networks National Rheumatology Conference has come to a close! The event kicked off Friday with the Rheumatology Connections Roundtable followed by the welcome reception. Conference sessions began yesterday, starting with a welcome session by Specialty Networks CEO, SHAILENDRA SHARMA, followed by a Medical Policy Committee Subcommittee Panel, sessions on Giant Cell Arteritis, Data Value Creation, and the Treatment of RA, and podium presentations by Johnson & Johnson, GSK, AbbVie, and Exagen Inc. Today we welcomed sessions on Biomarkers in Rheumatoid Arthritis, MIPS, and Specialty Networks business updates.
