Last week our Advocacy Officer, Dave Stone, took United Way of Central Iowa's mission to Washington D.C.! Dave met with U.S. Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo, Senator Charles Grassley, and Senator Joni Ernst to champion our United to Thrive priorities. As a proud recipient of the Good Jobs Challenge grant, we're upskilling and training new healthcare workers through our Central Iowa HealthWorks program.
