About us
The University of Illinois Tax School provides high quality, low cost professional tax education and materials to tax professionals. As an accredited sponsor of continuing professional education (CPE), The Tax School awards industry-specific CPE credits to CPAs, EAs, CFPs, IL insurance professionals and IL attorneys. Approximately 6,000 tax professionals attend the University of Illinois Tax School seminars every year to meet their annual CPE needs. For over 75 years, the Tax School has offered the annual Fall Tax School seminar, a professional tax seminar that is affordable, is taught by expert tax practitioners, and covers content that is important to tax professionals and their clients. The Tax School also offers topic-specific seminars and webinars based on participants' expressed educational needs. The Tax School annually publishes the nationally recognized Federal Tax Workbook. These workbooks are used in tax continuing education programs held in 25 states around the country.
