Cheers to 365 days of screenings! Thank you to our amazing mammography team for making the first year of our Mobile Mammography Van a success. Since last November, we've completed over 960 screenings and traveled over 8,300 miles, bringing mammograms to communities across the Greater Rochester and Finger Lakes region. 💞👏

The American Heart Association honored URMC for it's longstanding leadership and commitment to health improvement, research and education programs for more than two decades. The institution received the Heart Association’s 2024 Eastern Region Corporate Leadership Award for its participation in a variety of programs including Get With The Guidelines, Go Red for Women, Heart Walk and Ball, community CPR training and vaccine campaigns, as well as various boards, scientific sessions, and fundraising events. URMC was an early adopter in the Heart Association’s Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) program and has reached the highest performance level as a Lighthouse organization. “UR Medicine leaders and staff have been an integral part of the Heart Association’s efforts for a long time,” said Jason Stulb, senior vice president of the Heart Association’s East Region. “We are building a world of longer, healthier lives and we’re proud to recognize the many contributions made by UR Medicine physicians, caregivers, scientists and support staff.”
