    They say AI SDRs can deliver. This is a̶ ̶b̶i̶g̶ ̶l̶i̶e̶ overpromise. Here is why: To get results, you need to: 1. Precisely identify prospects who fit your ideal customer profile. But as I see it, some of them still use Apollo and/or Sales Navigator as a data source. They can’t be precise even for the simplest ICP, like companies that spend $20K+ per month on AWS. 2. From those who fit, choose those who may have an interest in your product now, which means you need to monitor their behavior and track intent signals. But they do not track behavior (they still need to use third-party suppliers like RB2B, G2, 6Sense, Unstuck Engine), just the last three latest posts to personalize their copy. But personalization is not relevance. 3. Once you have steps 1 and 2 covered, you need to have a scalable email deliverability infrastructure that still needs to be managed by humans for the best results. They do make some automated email deliverability infrastructure. One thing that actually contributes to deliverability (no evidence about reply rate) is that AI SDR copy is different for every recipient. 4. Create and test multiple killer offers. The weakest point for them. You need classical A/B testing (multivariate will not work because of low sample sizes) and you can’t achieve that with generative AI, because as I said every offer will be different or you need to hardcode offers and then what's the point in this case with AI SDR (ha-ha). And I assume you are not crazy enough to delegate to AI to create killer offers; better read @alexhormozi 5. Have great copy that can cut through the noise, meaning you need to differentiate yourself from the others. AI SDRs can create only average copy. You do not trust them to write your LinkedIn posts, right? Remember, AI SDR is smart autocomplete; it can’t create something that is both differentiated and relevant. It can create something either relevant (temperature 0.3) or creative (temperature 2). Using AI SDRs is like handing over your sales strategy to a robot with tunnel vision. While it’s good at marching in a straight line, it lacks the ability to notice detours or opportunities that lie just outside its narrow path. When you rely solely on AI, those overlooked avenues could be where your next big client is waiting.
