Platforms such as Slack and Discord focus on raw communication (i.e., voice and text chatting), however, this is not enough for modern online communities. Today, it's all about collaboration. A Minecraft community organizes in-game events, a drawing community sketches ideas on shared canvases, a poker community runs weekly tournaments, an indie game studio collaborates on a shared backlog with their early adopters, a streamer sells their merch, and so on. The next generation communication platform is not just voice and text; it includes voice, text, and collaboration. There are so many exciting challenges in this space, and we're looking to hire people who share the same passion as we do. We're hiring React engineers to help build out our App platform, and we're also looking for a talented WebRTC expert. If you know any awesome engineers, please send them my way!
