#USSPACECOM's Command Surgeon hosted the 4th annual Joint Space Medicine Forum, uniting experts from the United States Department of Defense, NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration, and Federal Aviation Administration to advance space medicine support. “With the inherent risk in space operations and the amount of coordination that is required before adding the crew, having an organization like USSPACECOM, that is already thinking about and coordinating subject matter experts in the field of space medicine, is extremely important considering how fast space exploration is changing,” said Col. Melissa Dooley, Air Force Special Operations Command Command Surgeon. 👉 https://lnkd.in/gP8Y3G6R

Congratulations Brian Bierman, #USSPACECOM’s Wednesday Warrior of the Week. As the USSPACECOM Sustainment Branch Chief, he initiated the command’s first sustainment task order designed to capture critical sustainment and reconstitution data across all weapons systems, which will inform senior leaders’ decisions. He was also the mastermind behind the initial development of the Weapons System Sustainment Dashboard and the Sustainment Node Mapping platforms, which feeds into the overall J4 common operating picture and informs senior leaders in the Joint Operations Center. Thank you for all you do Mr. Bierman.

Zulu Kepler 25 enhanced integration with Multinational Forces-Operation Olympic Defender partners, refining command and control to support combatant commands. Strengthening partnerships and multi-domain ops ensures U.S. space power remains ready to deter, defend and win. “Extensive work was completed to sharpen our support to combatant commands in conflict against a near peer adversary. In working with MNF-OOD partners, S4S was able to better synchronize efforts to enhance an information advantage,” said Col. Michael Dyer, S4S acting director of force development. 👉 https://lnkd.in/gWigpfY8

Early this morning, Air Force Global Strike Command Airmen and Vandenberg Space Force Base Guardians launched an unarmed Minuteman III ICBM test launch, ensuring the 🇺🇸 maintains a strong, credible nuclear deterrent vital to national security and the safety of U.S. #AlliesandPartners. “During this test, we collected and analyzed performance and other key data points to evaluate current missile system competencies,” said Col. Dustin Harmon, 377th TEG commander. “This allows our team to analyze and report accuracy and reliability for the current system while validating projected missile system improvements. The data we collect and analyze is crucial for maintaining Minuteman III while we pave the way for Sentinel.” 👉 https://lnkd.in/gjcjiDnr
