Last week we headed to Cornell Tech's beautiful Roosevelt Island campus in NYC to attend Entrepreneurship at Cornell's Eclectic Convergence. This event is always a highlight - from incredible alumni speakers, to impressive student startup pitches - it was an inspiring day of learning and connecting. We can't wait for next year! What an incredible 2 days we had at the Unleashed Founders Retreat at the Inns of Aurora Resort & Spa last month. Founders from across Upstate NY came together for insightful conversations on building global brands, success stories in M&A in Upstate NY, and more. Last week, we hosted our annual Unleashed Founders Retreat at the Inns of Aurora Resort & Spa, bringing together 55 founders from across Upstate New York. The event featured inspiring talks from notable speakers including Kevin Hartley, David Deutsch, Abraham Sultan, and Nick Nickitas. We also had the honor of recognizing two outstanding Community Catalysts: Noa Conger Simons and Peter Dean, along with celebrating Nuvalence's acquisition as Deal of the Year! Every year, UVC honors a company as The Deal of the Year. This award celebrates a company whose exit created wealth for investors, founders and employees, as well as making the company a stronger contributor to the Upstate NY economy.
