About us

The UW Department of Radiology's clinical and research faculty cover all aspects of diagnostic, interventional, and nuclear medicine radiology – including abdominal imaging, breast imaging, emergency radiology, interventional radiology, musculoskeletal, neuroradiology, nuclear medicine, pediatric radiology, and thoracic imaging. Our dedicated team of medical physicists serve all hospitals and clinics within the UW Medicine system. We provide clinical coverage and teaching at UWMC-Montlake and NW hospitals, Harborview, Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, Seattle Children’s Hospital, Roosevelt and Eastside Specialty Clinics, and the Puget Sound VA Medical Center. The Department of Radiology is committed to embracing Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion in everything we do. Our faculty, trainees, and staff meet regularly in forums and participate in developing programs and initiatives to educate members of our department to value diversity and foster inclusion in the recruitment and retention of faculty and staff, recognition, and development of a pipeline to recruit and retain a diverse workforce that reflects the diversity of our patients.
