A few weeks ago, VamosVentures and Supply Change Capital co-hosted a LA Latinx VC roundtable with Janis Bowdler, Counselor for Racial Equity at the U.S. Department of the Treasury and Jeff Stout, Deputy Chief Program Officer for Small Business and Community Investment at the U.S. Department of the Treasury. Participants engaged in lively discussion and brainstorming around how Treasury can further support diverse fund managers and underrepresented entrepreneurs. It was an illuminating session, but there's still lots of work to be done. We look forward to continuing this collaborative effort with changemakers in both the private and public sectors 🤝

A few weeks ago in San Francisco we hosted our LP Annual Meeting at the SVB Experience Center. It was wonderful to see so many of our mission-aligned LPs in one room and talk about about our progress over the past year 💫 We were joined by Peter Walker, Head of Insights at Carta, who presented on the state of the market and outlook for 2025. Two of our stellar portfolio founders, Nico Christie at Altera and Christina LaMontagne at Clarity Pediatrics, also generously shared more details about their respective companies + current status.
