The day started with presentation address on ‘Leveraging Geospatial for Inclusive Rural Development’, it was so fulfilling to address women leaders having so much passion to transform villages and drive tech driven rural development. Day 3 continues with the final Live Demo session of the #DigitalWaterSummit. Santi Singla Font (Hidroglobal/MATHOLDING Exclusive Partner for AQS by Aliaxis Technology) demonstrated the capabilities of the AQS-SYS platform which is designed to improve performance of network #infrastructure. Nikhilesh Kumar (Vassar Labs) guided us through the aquaWISE platform that utilises different types of data to ensure #sustainable #water resource usage and maximised use efficiency. This was followed by a lively discussion about #cybersecurity, which Enrique Cabrera (University of Valencia) moderated. Bruno Nguyen (W-Smart) and Sergio Trindade (Águas do Tejo Atlântico) shared their expert opinions on the complexities of the topic, including industry vulnerability and suggestions for improving the internal security of crucial stakeholders. Attendees and the panellists alike believed that people, internet and communication networks were the greatest risks for incidents in their organisations. While the discussion was thorough, it highlighted the need to not only increase organizational awareness but also to enhance communication and mutual understanding between IT and OT departments to ensure cyber-safety.
