🫀"The integration of these technologies has significant potential to help over 40% of patients, particularly those with persistent AF or redo ablation procedures for whom the standard approach does not achieve the clinical and desired outcome."🫀 Later this month at Western AFib, Dr. David Krummen will share his perspectives and experiences on the benefits of effectively integrating AF mapping into PFA procedures. Learn more about Dr. Krummen's upcoming presentation in this EP Lab Digest interview: https://lnkd.in/gZ8D7ZFg #WAFib2025 #medtech #clinicalexperience
EP Lab Digest interviews David Krummen, MD, Professor of Clinical Medicine at UC San Diego, about his upcoming #WAFib2025 presentation: "Integrating Atrial Fibrillation Mapping Into the Pulsed Field Ablation Procedure." Dr Krummen discusses current challenges, impact on clinical practice, and future directions for improving the integration of AFib mapping and PFA, paving the way for more precise and effective treatments. https://okt.to/6GJabh

🫀Clinical Case with Dr. Anish Amin at OhioHealth demonstrating the power of #vMap technology in a complex #AFib ablation procedure. 🔎A 70-year-old female patient with a history of open-heart surgery presented for px AFib ablation. Initially, the ECG showed normal sinus rhythm; however, AFib was induced after catheter placement. 🎯 The first vMap revealed areas of interest that guided Dr. Amin to perform a WACA, posterior wall ablation, and MV lesion sets. A follow-up vMap showed that the areas of interest had shifted primarily to the right atrium. After placing lesions in these areas, AFib was successfully terminated. 🙌 vMap provided accurate information throughout the procedure and contributed to a successful outcome. #medtech #epeeps
