As previously announced, two monitoring buoys (FLIDAR and wave buoy) have now been deployed to collect vital data on wind profiles, wave dynamics, weather, subsea conditions, as well as wildlife presence. Live metocean data is already being received and visualized, and we are ready to monitor the winter conditions ahead. The buoys are set to remain in place for at least one year. #RenewableEnergy #OffshoreWind #Sustainability #Ventyr #Norway #SørligeNordsjøII #CleanEnergy #EnvironmentalMonitoring #AI #Parkwind #IngkaInvestments AKROCEAN, TechWorks Marine , Spoor, Biotope, Windport

🌍 New milestone for Sørlige Nordsjø II 🌬️ Ventyr has successfully begun environmental monitoring preparations for Norway's first offshore wind farm, Sørlige Nordsjø II 🚀 Two specialized monitoring buoys will be deployed to gather critical data on wind profiles, wave dynamics, weather, and subsea conditions, as well as wildlife presence. These buoys, provided by AKROCEAN and TechWorks Marine , represent the latest in monitoring technology. With environmental analysis led by Biotope, this deployment is designed to prioritize conservation throughout the project's development. Spoor’s AI-powered cameras will be instrumental in tracking bird activity year-round, further strengthening ecological preservation. Maritime support is organized through the Norwegian company Windport. 🔊 Anne K. Knausgård, Country Manager for Norway at Parkwind, highlights the significance: “This critical phase lays the foundation for the project’s environmental and wildlife assessments, ensuring that the offshore wind farm is developed with careful consideration for the surrounding ecosystem.” As Norway's first offshore wind farm takes shape, this project will contribute valuable insights over the coming year, playing a vital role in sustainable energy production. #RenewableEnergy #OffshoreWind #Sustainability #Ventyr #Norway #SørligeNordsjøII #CleanEnergy #EnvironmentalMonitoring #AI #Parkwind #IngkaInvestments

🌍🔋 Exciting progress for Norway's offshore wind future! Ventyr is excited to share that the Norwegian Water Resources and Energy Directorate (NVE) has released the Impact Assessment (IA) program for the Sørlige Nordsjø II offshore wind project! 🌬️⚡ This milestone brings us closer to developing Norway’s first offshore wind farm, a key step in advancing the country's renewable energy goals. The IA will evaluate both the environmental and societal effects of the project, ensuring a balanced and sustainable approach. "We appreciate NVE's careful evaluation, which incorporated public feedback. Their thorough review ensures transparency and balance, crucial for the success of Sørlige Nordsjø II," says Anne K. Knausgård, Country Manager for Norway at Parkwind, Ventyr's main shareholder. 🌱⚡ We look forward to continuing collaboration with stakeholders - from local communities and environmental groups to industry partners, as we push forward toward a greener energy future for Norway. #OffshoreWind #RenewableEnergy #Sustainability #Norway #CleanEnergy #Ventyr #GreenFuture #SørligeNordsjøII #ImpactAssessment #WindPower
