We're building a "new generation" VFW from the ground up.

About us

With a diverse roster of Post-9/11 veterans, we are proudly building a “new generation” VFW post in the largest, oldest, and the most powerful war veterans service organization in America. We bring veterans together, we take care of each other, and we continue to serve our country and our communities. The VFW New Haven monthly membership meeting is at 7:10 p.m. on the second Thursday of the month at the Knights of St. Patrick (1533 State St., New Haven). Meetings are open and we are actively recruiting eligible veterans to our post--an IRS Section 501(c)(19) organization incorporated in Connecticut. To join the VFW, a veteran must have served honorably, served in a foreign war, and be a U.S. citizen. #VFWNHV
