💡 🔋 New analysis in New York shows demand-side management efforts, which could include smart #EVCharging and #V2X, would significantly improve grid reliability and reduce emissions. Establishing virtual power plants (#VPPs), which integrate #CleanEnergy technologies like EVs, solar, and battery storage, can help the Empire State achieve its ambitious climate goals. Advocates urge regulatory changes to make these programs more accessible, especially for smaller buildings and low-income communities. These programs could also address a predicted electricity shortfall in New York City by 2025, providing a quicker alternative to renewable energy projects. 🔗Read the full Utility Dive article in the comments. #Electrification #ElectricVehicles #EVs
