VIBES Project 2021-2025
Biotechnology Research
A green technology solution for thermoset composites' end-of-life.
About us
The VIBES project aims to develop an innovative and cost-efficient green technology solution to resolve the end-of-life issues of thermoset composites, decreasing the amount of non-biodegradable polymers sent to disposal or discharged to the environment by at least 40%. The project will develop a recycling solution that combines materials science developments and a green chemistry recycling technology. VIBES has received funding from the Bio-Based Industries Joint Undertaking (JU) under the European Union’s Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Programme under Grant Agreement N° 101023190. The JU receives support from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme and the Bio-based Industries Consortium.
