At their December 19 meeting, the Village Board approved the Calendar Year 2025 Budget (for the fiscal year that begins January 1, 2025). It is now available on our website at https://lnkd.in/gvNbZqeW. The budget is a policy document that maps out the allocation of resources for the next 12 months to deliver the services and investments our residents and businesses rely upon. It also outlines any updates to fees or fines collected by the Village. We want YOUR FEEDBACK on our the Village's upcoming downtown parking and streetscape study! 👇 Glencoe's vibrant downtown is evolving, and the Village is evaluating its needs for current and future uses. In September, the Board hired Teska Associates to conduct a parking and streetscape study in the Downtown Business District. Through input from businesses, residents, and staff, Teska will recommend solutions that balance parking efficiency, pedestrian safety, and streetscape aesthetics. Key questions include integrating outdoor dining without disrupting businesses and refining parking timeframes beyond the standard 2-hour limit.
