We had an incredible time at the 6th Annual NM Governor’s STEM Challenge! As a founding sponsor, Virgin Galactic is proud to support future innovators in our communities year after year. This year, we sponsored Cloudcroft High School, whose impressive multi-disciplinary project stood out to our judges, Sudarshan and Tori. From wildfire mitigation to drone-based emergency transport, students showcased creativity, technical skill, and problem-solving. Congrats to the 300+ high school students representing 32 teams from across the state who tackled real-world transportation challenges with innovative STEM solutions. The future of STEM is bright in New Mexico!   Thanks to Jason, and to New Mexican astronaut 007 Jamila for providing the keynote presentation on behalf of Virgin Galactic.

From sweet treats to tea tastings to experiencing the art of calligraphy, our team enjoyed a memorable celebration to ring in the new year. Wishing all those who celebrate health and good fortune!

Virgin Galactic is partnering with Redwire Space to advance research capabilities onboard Delta spaceships. Our new state-of-the-art research platform means we can offer a suborbital space lab suited for testing technologies and research in preparation for orbital, lunar, or Martian missions. Proudly in service of our communities 💪 Over the past month, Virgin Galactic volunteers dedicated 24 hours to reading to over 240 elementary students in Anaheim, CA. In Las Cruces, NM, teammates volunteered, packed, and distributed more than 300 lbs of food, supporting over 100 families in need. In Mojave, CA, our volunteers collected toys, food, and clothing for local families, contributing over 160 hours of service. In 2025, we're excited to expand our service efforts with even more volunteering opportunities supporting the communities in which we work and live, including our new location in Phoenix-Mesa – home to our Spaceship Factory. A huge thank you to everyone who answered the call to serve their communities this season. #TeamGalactic

Virgin Galactic is partnering with ENAC - Ente Nazionale per l'Aviazione Civile, Italy’s civil aviation authority, to determine if spaceflight operations are feasible in southern Italy. This is the first step toward establishing our first international spaceport, building on the research conducted aboard #Galactic01 by the Italian Air Force and National Research Council 18 months ago.
