As head of the VISAGES LAB, our eyewear design studio, Sebastien will lead all design and optics operations at Visages. His deep technical knowledge fused with our proprietary technologies opens up an entirely new dimension in eyewear design, bridging the most daring concepts with the advanced capabilities of 3D printing. We’re empowering creators and brands with unprecedented autonomy, flexibility, and the power to innovate—all while embracing sustainability through our zero-waste, zero-stock 3D printing approach. French startup Visages has a service that allows for customization of eyeglasses, including texture and inscriptions. Using a smartphone app, a scan allows the glasses to be made specifically for your face, and then #3Dprinted on-demand out of eco-friendly materials. Joris Peels has the details.
