We advocate for road safety and Vision Zero throughout the year, and are proud of out traffic solutions that support these aims.
#RoadSafetyWeek officially wrapped on November 23rd, but at VITRONIC, we’re committed to #roadsafety & #VisionZero every day of the year. As we remember those impacted by road tragedies, we encourage everyone to choose focus over distraction. A single moment of #distracteddriving—a quick glance, a text—can change lives forever. We all have the power to make roads safer by staying attentive and keeping our eyes on the road. Our #AI-powered solutions can enforce this behavior further and help drivers stay focused for the safety of everyone around them. Visit our website to learn more: https://bit.ly/4fOnzGZ

It's important for us to remember the importance of #trafficsafety to our communities. Too many lives are lost and impacted by road accidents, and we're passionate about creating safer roads for vehicles and pedestrians. Our automated traffic safety solutions are an important tool for communities looking for ways to increase road safety. Read more about our commitment to Vision Zero in our latest blog article: https://lnkd.in/gfBvJe8M #RoadSafetyWeek #VisionZero
#Speeding is a top cause of road accidents, especially on narrow, high-risk roads. Enforcing an 80 km/h limit and setting firm consequences for violations could prevent countless tragedies. Yet, road #trafficinjuries remain the leading cause of death among children and young people—a stark reminder of the human cost behind the numbers (World Health Organization). For real impact, we need more #trafficmonitoring focused on the most dangerous offenses. Especially during #RoadSafetyWeek, it’s crucial to address this head-on despite political pushback. Ready to explore proven solutions for #saferroads? Check out our latest blog post for more: https://bit.ly/3A2Va09 Brake, the road safety charity, Daniel Scholz-Stein

1 in 10 adults live with diabetes, and on #WorldDiabetesDay, we’re thinking of those affected and the importance of early detection and quality care. For healthcare providers, access to reliable resources is crucial to catching complications early and supporting patients’ safety. Among the treatment innovations, insulin pens are transforming care for people with diabetes and offering greater independence. Our company and staff gathered over $3,000 in donations for areas that were hit hardest by recent Hurricanes, Helene & Milton. Items donated to three local charities distributing supplies to communities included toiletries, baby diapers, clothing, blankets, animal food, PPE, paper goods, and more household essentials. We are proud of the impact we were able to make by pooling our resources and efforts. #giving #community #hurricanehelene #hurricanemilton

It was a pleasure attending SMWC XX: Advances in Automotive Welding & Joining Conference in Livonia, Michigan last week. Our Weld Seam Monitoring (WSM) partner MONITECH Co., Ltd.'s CTO, Yongjoon Cho, presented to attendees about the laser welding monitoring technology that is used in our WSM solution. And our colleagues Patrick Magill and Wayne Pugh were onsite to share how VITRONIC's WSM is a great solution to improve your process and quality control for laser welding production lines, like e-vehicle batteries.

IACP Conference 2024 Boston has been a great event to speak with members of law enforcement about VITRONIC Machine Vision's traffic safety solutions. We've received a lot of positive feedback about our new Enforcement Bar built on Whelen Engineering's Freedom IV platform, and we're excited about offering this new mobile #ALPR solution that enhances safety for officers and their communities. Thank you to everyone who helped make this event a success! Niclas Andersson, William Tente Jr., James Rowe, Boris Wagner, Kjell Lyngstad, Jacqueline Vaughn
