Join us in celebrating Nancy Peterson, NP, for her brilliance in action! This recognition isn't just given—it's earned by those who go above and beyond to create meaningful change in the lives of many. And Nancy? Well, she has done just that. Nancy has been a driving force behind the development and implementation of the MAT & Suboxone program within Riverside County Correctional Health Facilities. With five adult and three juvenile correctional facilities, the county houses a large population of patients in acute opioid withdrawal. Thanks to her dedication and leadership, the program has led to a 70% decrease in ER send-outs related to overdoses—a truly life-changing impact on this high-risk patient population. Congratulations, Nancy! Your work is more than a program, it's a lifeline for those who need it most. Thank you for your commitment to improving lives. 🧡 #Leadership #Vituity #BrillianceInAction

Healthcare is a team effort—but not every organization treats it that way. Too often, physicians are left out of the decision-making process, despite being the ones on the front lines of patient care. At Vituity, collaboration isn’t just encouraged—it’s built into everything we do. A couple of years ago, Jason Henney, MD was hesitant about what it would mean for his team and his patients when his hospital site transitioned to Vituity. But almost immediately, he felt the positive impact of our unique model and culture. With national systems of support but local autonomy AND a variety of leadership opportunities to pursue, Dr. Henney rapidly grew into a Regional Director and is now a visionary leader. Join leaders like Dr. Henney and the team that's transforming healthcare from the front lines. Learn more: https://lnkd.in/gsQyxidn #LifeAtVituity

How does change take root? Through a single decision? A moment of courage? Or through the leaders who pave the way for future generations to follow? In the 1980s, emergency medicine was evolving but lacked the structure to truly empower physicians. Hospitals needed better systems. Physicians needed a stronger voice. And the future of patient care depended on both. Enter Dr. Wesley Curry, MD, FACEP, a physician and visionary. When he was the CEO of CEP America (now Vituity), he helped transform it from a regional group into one of the largest multi-specialty partnerships in the nation. He understood that the practice of medicine wasn't just about treating patients, it was about shaping the systems that made care possible. Under his leadership, he helped pioneer management innovations that strengthened physician autonomy, improved hospital operations, and set a new standard for patient care. Today, his legacy continues in the next generation of providers like his daughter, Arielle Curry, MS, PA-C, a Vituity Physician Assistant following in his footsteps. Dr. Curry didn’t just open doors—he built pathways. And because of his work, the future of emergency medicine is brighter, more inclusive, and built to last. #CelebratingBlackHistory #BHM2025

They may use stethoscopes instead of golden lassos, but the tool of choice doesn't matter because we know women physicians really are their own versions of Wonder Woman. That's why when we asked fellow Vitans to tell us about a female physician who inspires them, there was no shortage of exceptional examples to name. Today, and everyday, we celebrate the incredible women physicians who we're lucky to work alongside. Tell us about women physicians who inspire you or have made a difference in your life! 👇 #WomenPhysiciansDay #WomenInMedicine
