🌟 Welcome to Vope Medical, Kevin Shen and Christopher Beckham, PhD! 🌟 We're thrilled to welcome Kevin as our newest AI Intern and Christopher as AI Expert for a three-month mission, made possible with the support of CDL-Montreal, HEC Montréal, and SCALE AI | Canada's AI Global Innovation Cluster! 🎉 Kevin is a master's student at University of Waterloo. Previously, he interned at Weights & Biases, developing AI tools for medical imaging. Christopher holds a PhD in Computer Engineering from Polytechnique Montréal. His research focuses on model-based optimization, generative modeling and self-supervised learning. He has held research roles at NVIDIA, ServiceNow Research and Imagia Canexia Health, with publications at NeurIPS and ICML. We’re excited for the fresh perspectives and innovative contributions they will bring to our projects. Welcome aboard!

🌟 Welcome to Vope Medical, Noée Ducros-Chabot! 🌟 We’re delighted to welcome Noée Ducros-Chabot as our newest AI Research Intern, made possible through the support of the National Research Council Canada / Conseil national de recherches Canada! 🎉 Noée completed her Master’s thesis in biomedical engineering at Polytechnique Montréal under the supervision of Benjamin De Leener, where she explored super resolution to accelerate MRI acquisition times. She also gained valuable experience as a Research Assistant at Institut TransMedTech de Montréal and completed an internship at Elekta. We’re excited for the fresh perspectives and innovative contributions she will bring to our projects. Welcome aboard!

Had a fantastic experience attending INNOV-Action this week! It was great to connect with surgeons I usually meet virtually and share our latest demos. At Vope Medical, we’re dedicated to empowering surgical teams with cutting-edge, vision-enhancing tools for safer, more efficient surgeries. It’s incredible to see how the industry is embracing new technology to improve surgical outcomes. A special thank you to Dr. Moishe Liberman for the shoutout during his panel on The Future of Robotic Surgery. 🌟 Welcome to Vope Medical, Sukesh Adiga V! 🌟 We are thrilled to welcome Sukesh Adiga V as our newest AI Researcher! 🎉 Sukesh just completed his PhD at École de technologie supérieure in medical imaging focusing on image segmentation, uncertainty, semi-supervised learning, weakly-supervised learning, representation learning, and calibration. He's also the co-author of ResCycleGAN, an unsupervised image-to-image translation method incorporating residual learning to match the characteristics of images across domains. We are excited for the fresh perspectives and innovative contributions he will bring to our projects, welcome aboard!
