VRPA Technologies recently attended the CEAC (County Engineer's Association of California) 2024 Fall Conference held in Pasadena. The event centered around insightful committee led discussions impacting various County agencies throughout the state - with topics ranging from transportation and flood control to resource recovery and waste management. The conference culminated with a hilariously entertaining CLODS BBQ serving delicious chili served in the only way the CLODS know how - straight out of a toilet! This was VRPA's first time attending the event and we look forward to attending for years to come! Special shout out to Dokken Engineering (#Dokken) for an amazing evening where VRPA staff was able to kick back and experience the thrill of real racing in a state-of-the-art simulator! VRPA would also like to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving and that you enjoy spending some quality time with family and friends! #vrpatechnologies #transportation #engineering

Madera Transit Plan - Improving Bus Services in Madera, CA! 🚍 The City of Madera has taken major strides toward making public transit more efficient and accessible through the Madera Transit Plan (MTP). VRPA Technologies led public outreach efforts for the MTP to inform the public of proposed changes to Madera Metro bus services. Highlights from the project include: - Thorough review and inspection of all Madera Metro bus stops and schedules - Two bilingual flyers, social media content, and a project QR code to engage the community - Bilingual community surveys, pop-up events, and three public forums to gather valuable public input With MTP's completion in January 2024, Madera’s transit is now more user-friendly, with optimized routes and improved bus stop spacing. We’re excited to see these changes make transit more accessible for everyone! #VRPATechnologies #transit #transportationplanning

VRPA recently completed an engineering assessment of a 0.55-mile segment of Mumy Lane Road in Inyo County, which serves a local sand and gravel mining operation. Our team evaluated the road and two timber-framed bridges, performing load analyses and recommending upgrades to ensure compliance with local conditional use permits. We provided options to repair or supplement the bridges for full legal load capacity and offered recommendations for roadway improvements and maintenance to meet county standards. We're proud to support our client's needs and local infrastructure around Inyo County! #Engineering #Infrastructure #RoadSafety #BridgeAssessment #VRPATechnologies
