Today’s #TransformationTuesday features the expansion of Framatome’s Operational Center of Excellence in Lynchburg, Virginia! This project includes expanding the current building to support more than 500 new employees while refurbishing the nuclear training center to accommodate newer nuclear technologies. New spaces will include an executive suite, secure reception area, multiple conference rooms, a technical library and a variety of cubicle and office spaces. Existing offices and conference rooms will also be modernized. The exterior of the project includes two garden areas for employees to enjoy and expanding parking. The Operational Center of Excellence serves as the hub of Framatome’s Installed Base Business Unit in North America. Stay tuned for more updates from Lynchburg! Our latest #TransformationTuesday features the Virginia Living Museum’s brand new Wild Care Center! Located in Newport News, Virginia, just off the James River, the Virginia Living Museum connects people to nature through educational experiences with the goal of promoting conservation. The Wild Care Center, which opened as part of the museum’s celebration of its 58th birthday, features a transparent veterinary hospital and nutrition center, giving guests up close access to the VLM’s veterinary staff as they provide care and nutrition for over 200 species of animal native to Virginia. The Wild Care Center also offers live demonstrations of veterinary procedures, interactive and educational programs and behind the scenes views of the VLM’s diet and nutrition program for its animals.
