About us

In 1968, Walter T. Rich founded W.T. Rich Company to provide construction services throughout the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Established on the cornerstones of honesty, transparency and integrity, W.T. Rich began its corporate life providing strictly general contracting services. Our reputation for always putting the owner first quickly spread, and our capabilities as a firm simultaneously took flight. In 2003, Jonathan Rich, Walter’s son and the firm’s CEO, and Brian Santos, President, took the strong foundation Walter created and catapulted the company into a new, modernized dimension. Today, W.T. Rich serves as a leader in delivering MGL Chapter 149A projects with an outstanding track record across multiple sectors, including K-12 schools, higher education, public safety, municipal, historic restoration, and life sciences. Our commitment to operating under the same principles on which we were founded has earned us an admirable reputation among owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors. Our Vision: To be the best Construction Manager in the Massachusetts Public Building Sector. We will accomplish this by delivering exceptional construction management services, consistently exceeding expectations, and setting new standards in safety, quality, customer satisfaction and employee engagement.

  • Last Friday, we celebrated a significant milestone in the construction of the new Middleton Municipal Complex with the Topping-Off ceremony! This transformative project involves the redevelopment of a former golf course into a multi-functional municipal complex. The site will feature two state-of-the-art buildings: a public safety building, housing both a fire and police station, and a combined community/senior center with Town offices. Thank you to all the team members, partners, and community members who joined us to celebrate this exciting step forward. We’re proud to collaborate with the Town, PCA360 and Context Architecture • Boston to deliver a project that will serve the Middleton community for generations to come!
