Today we're celebrating last month's Employee of the Month, Abby Honneger! 🥳 Abby is a student at Purdue University, where she studies Developmental and Family Sciences. She tells us that working at GRANT'S HOUSE has given her the opportunity to apply what she's learning in the classroom to the real world. "The relationship I have with the kids here is more than just work," she says. "This is real, and it's really making an impact on them." To join our award-winning team and make a positive impact in the community like Abby, apply today at https://lnkd.in/enn_MHNc!

Give the gift of friendship, purpose, and community to people like JoAnn. JoAnn shares a cozy home where our caring team is able to offer support as needed, allowing JoAnn to live with independence and dignity while surrounded by friends who feel like family. Each weekday, she attends Day Services at Wabash Center where she makes crafts, learns new skills, and socializes with her peers. Your gift to Wabash Center empowers people with disabilities to lead fulfilling lives and find their place in our community. Together, we can foster inclusion and belonging so more people can live #LifeWithoutLimits. Make your gift to support our mission at https://lnkd.in/dY9XUBZc.

During this season of giving, we invite you to join Katherine in giving back to the community! Katherine was diagnosed with a brain tumor after kindergarten, and the radiation treatment caused a brain injury. The programs available at GRANT'S HOUSE have helped Katherine build important skills that help her at school and in her community. These new skills allowed her to cheer at a high school football game with her school's cheerleading team and proudly accept the honor of prom queen last year. Will you join Wabash Center and Grant's House in helping more people like Katherine to live a #LifeWithoutLimits? Support our campaign today at: https://lnkd.in/dY9XUBZc.

Congratulations to Stephanie Patacsil, winner of the 2024 James R. Tilton Award! Each year, the Tilton Award, named after Wabash Center's founding Executive Director, is given to a community member that goes above an beyond in their dedication to advocacy and support of our mission. Stephanie has been a member of the Wines on the Wabash committee for several years, and recently joined the Development Committee as well. Thank you, Stephanie, for all of your hard work that helps create more opportunities for the people we serve!

Feeling the spirit of giving this holiday season? Learn how you can support Wabash Center’s SOAR Autism Clinic by hearing Cooper’s Story! Cooper was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder at an early age. His mom saw the early signs and got him into ABA therapy at age 3. However, finding services that met their needs was difficult, and driving across the state to multiple different providers proved challenging for working parents. That’s what makes Wabash Center so special to families like Cooper’s - our continuum of care that can support individuals of any ability through any stage of life. Help us finish building the SOAR clinic at Grant’s House by giving to the Life Without Limits campaign today! Together, we can make sure that every child diagnosed with autism has the help they need.
