Training for a Tough Mudder Infinity is a lot like training for recovery. It takes discipline, resilience, and the ability to push through when things get hard. Just like in sobriety, there are moments when you want to quit—but you keep going. Our Warriors Heart team crushed two laps of the 15K course, running a total of 30K to spread awareness about the connection between fitness and recovery. Physical challenges like this aren’t just about strength—they’re about proving to yourself that you can overcome, endure, and come out stronger. Proud of this crew for showing up, putting in the work, and leading by example. The mission continues. 💪 #WarriorsHeart #ToughMudder #FitnessAndRecovery #MentalToughness #Sobriety #Veterans #FirstResponders #HealingThroughDiscipline

Healing our nation’s warriors with an addiction, through our private, licensed & accredited resort-style healing center
About us
Warrior’s Heart provides private treatment to adult men and women (18 and older) who are seeking inpatient treatment for chemical dependencies and co-occurring psychological disorders relating to PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder) and/or psychological effects of MTBI (mild traumatic brain injury). Our facility specializes in serving Warriors. These are the men and women who are currently active and veteran members from organizations who protect and serve the citizens of the United States (e.g, Army, Navy, Marine, Air Force, Law Enforcement, Fire, Paramedics, First Responders, Hospital Personnel, Civilian Warriors, and the like). We are a community of elder warriors, healers and support staff united in the battle against addiction and PTSD. Together, we serve and support our fellow warriors who are still suffering. Some traditions start with a few and become something much greater—carried on by those who find meaning in them. Morning brief is how every Warrior’s day begins—including ours. Over time, it has evolved in many ways, from weather updates to Hawaiian Friday shirts and plenty of organized chaos in between. But one habit stands out the most—the prayer circle. What started with a group of Warriors who have since discharged is now carried on by those who remain. A simple yet powerful tradition, rooted in connection, faith, and support for one another. Because at Warriors Heart, healing isn’t just about the work done in therapy—it’s about the bonds formed along the way. 🧡 #WarriorsHeart #WarriorsHealingWarriors #PTSDRecovery #AddictionRecovery #Veterans #FirstResponders #HealingTogether

From Stray to Service—K9 Bruce’s Mission Begins 🐕🦺 K9 Bruce’s journey started as a stray in Kerr County, but today, he stands as a Warriors Heart Service Dog Training Program graduate—ready to serve a Warrior in need. After being welcomed home on 10/28/24, Bruce quickly proved his resilience and dedication. He excelled in advanced obedience, obstacle training, and PTSD service task training. Now, he’s equipped to ground his handler, watch their Six, and alert them to rising anxiety—helping to bring stability and peace when it’s needed most. Bruce’s transformation is a powerful reminder that second chances can change lives—for both Warriors and their K9 partners. Congratulations, Bruce! Your service is just beginning. 🐾 🧡 #WarriorsHeart #ServiceDogTraining #K9Bruce #PTSDRecovery #HealingTogether #Military #Veterans #FirstResponders #FromStrayToService

The Warriors Heart Bell 🔔 A symbol of hope, resilience, and choosing life. In early 2018, the Admissions team felt like something was missing—a way to truly celebrate when a Warrior made the decision to begin their healing journey. Our founders had shared stories of a bell at Journey Healing that rang out with each new beginning, uniting the team in celebration. We knew we needed that same spirit at Warriors Heart. The search led us to an antique store in Pipe Creek, where we found a bell with a history stretching back over 150 years—discovered in a field in Ohio. That was all we needed to know. We brought it home, polished it up, and gave it a new purpose. Since then, the Warriors Heart Bell has rung over 3,000 times—a powerful reminder that every Warrior who chooses to fight for a new beginning is never alone. Each ring echoes through our walls, uniting our team and honoring the courage it takes to step forward into healing. #WarriorsHeart #WarriorsHeartBell #HealingJourney #Resilience #AddictionRecovery #PTSDRecovery #Veterans #FirstResponders #NoOneFightsAlone
