Student Media is a dynamic student-run organization that requires commitment and dedication. Staff members and leaders of this organization gain valuable skills that lead to increased marketability while forming lasting friendships. Student Media’s office is located in the basement of the Memorial Union and exists to give students from across campus a voice and access to information free from censorship. Students from all majors are encouraged to apply to work for Student Media and gain valuable skills that will help further their career options.

We’re excited to announce that our team took home All-Kansas (a.k.a. 1st Place) awards for our Indigo Magazine and Sapphire Yearbook last week at the 2024 Kansas Collegiate Media Spring Conference! Our staff members won many individual awards as well, and The Washburn Review placed 3rd in the 4-Year Public Online & Digital Media category.
