HEALTHCARE INTERNS: Last week, a new cohort of Providence Healthcare Academy students and their families visited Sacred Heart Medical Center for an introduction to this program. They met with Providence leaders to learn about day-to-day hospital procedures, explore the medical environment, and gain insight into their future roles. These talented students are preparing for clinical internships at Providence facilities, where they’ll train as Medical Assistants, Certified Nursing Assistants, Pharmacy Technicians and Culinary Apprentices. Check out a video about Providence HCA at https://lnkd.in/gWc2jhAz. Students who are interested in this program must apply to NEWTech Prep; applications for the 2025-26 school year open Feb. 1. Learn more at https://lnkd.in/gNk-nZPS, or talk to your school’s College & Career Counselor. The Providence Healthcare Academy is a proud partnership between Providence, Spokane Public Schools and Washington Alliance for Better Schools.
