“I don’t feel like it” can destroy your goals. How many times do you think this one phrase in your head when you are attempting to do anything? Go to the gym, or do some work. “I don’t feel like it” always pops up. Or “I will do it tomorrow.” One of the biggest things that will transform your life is starting to take action, especially when you don’t feel like it. Overcoming that initial resistance can lead to breakthroughs and create momentum towards achieving your goals. Remember, consistency is key; even small steps taken regularly can make a significant difference over time. #ilovemyjob #jobvacancy #jobseekers #jobsearch #lookingforwork #motivation

In sports and business, I’ve learned throughout my life that one of the biggest and most important tools is discipline. Mike Tyson defines discipline as: “Doing the things that you hate to do but doing them like you love it.” Whether you are applying for a job, competing in sports, or building a business, you always have to have discipline. That means every single day, repetition, doing things over and over, especially the things that you do not like or do not want to do. You have to force yourself to do it. The more you do these things, your brain will develop all those superpowers because you start to do them whether you feel like it or not. What you can start to do now is take baby steps and develop that discipline. For example, fixing your bed in the morning. As simple as it is, which takes a minute or two. You start to do it every day and you develop discipline. Exercising for 10 minutes a day or meditating for 5 minutes a day. Add those up, those baby steps equal bigger success. #success #successmindset #growthmindset #trainingmotivation #discipline #disciplineyourself #selfdiscipline

Most of the people that I talk to, they tell me - “Wasim, I am getting ghosted by recruiters or hiring mangers. Why do you think that happens?” Most people also start to make it about them, thinking that they lack the experience and then that affects their self-confidence. The matter of the fact is after working with a recruiter friend with over 15 years of experience, you have to understand that these recruiters and hiring managers get bombarded with messages, calls, and emails. A lot of times they forget to respond back to you. So, IT’S NOT ABOUT YOU! Also, it is a numbers game. When you talk to 10 different recruiters, not all of them will respond. Some of them didn’t see your message, and some of them are simply not a good fit. So, you have to talk to a good volume of people. It’s similar to dating - you go out with 10 people, will you like all of them? No! Will all of them like you? No! With recruiters and companies it’s the same! So that’s why, you have to keep pushing forward and talk to multiple people and if you hear one ‘No’, don’t even focus on it and let it go completely. #jobseekers #jobsearchstrategies #jobcoaching #careercoaching #recruiterlife

Empower your career journey by mastering the art of salary negotiation. Did you know that 60% of employees miss out on potential earnings by accepting the first offer? With the job market evolving, it’s crucial to seize opportunities, especially after the Great Resignation. Here’s the key: Negotiations begin when that offer letter hits your inbox. Before diving in, arm yourself with knowledge. Let’s say you’re eyeing a Project Manager position at Facebook in California. Google the salary ranges, use resources like Glassdoor, and understand the ballpark figure – let’s say $100K–$120K. When communicating with the recruiter, express your value: “I plan to triple department sales in three years and have a solid background. Positions like this pay $100K–$120K, and I aim for $110K–$130K, negotiable.” The fear of losing a job due to negotiation is a myth. Communicate your needs, especially after receiving the offer. For instance, if they propose $110K, don’t rush; set up a call. Express your enthusiasm for the role, ambitions, and researched market value. Request $120K, backed by achievements and goals. In case of resistance, tap into other offer components – compensation packages, bonuses. Stay strong, as there’s always room for negotiation. When a final decision looms, if it’s an increase, accept. If not, evaluate your worth and be ready to walk away if the offer falls short. For those honing negotiation skills, consider WriteSea, a platform offering expert guidance in salary pitches, alongside resources like resume writers and interview prep coaches. Elevate your career – it’s time to claim what you’re truly worth. 💼💡💰 #CareerEmpowerment #salarynegotiation

WHO DO YOU LOOK UP TO? My father was my biggest idol, and I always looked up to him. I learned many things about discipline, hard work, and dedicating myself to what I’m doing. All my life, he was a huge inspiration to me. A few years back, when he passed away, as difficult as it was for me, I found a deeper meaning from that experience. My meaning was - How can I carry his legacy into the future? And how can I inspire other people with my father’s legacy? So, my question to you is: Who do you look up to? Do you have an idol/mentor/coach? It’s very important to have someone to look up to, as they see the best in us. The most amazing things that we do not see for ourselves, they can see in us. Wherever you are in your journey, whatever goal you have - whether you are writing a book, starting a business, or looking for a new job - find a COACH/MENTOR. Because that will change your entire life! #coach #careercoach #careeradvice #careercoaching #mentor #mentoring #jobcounselling
