Waste to lime is a circular, platform separations technology designed to eliminate CO2 emissions at the lime kiln by utilizing alkaline industrial waste materials such as steel slag and waste cement. - Circular - regenerating industrial feed stocks in this way avoids scope 3 emissions by avoiding mining of these feed stocks. - Green - efficient, electric operations that don't require extreme temperatures. - Scalable - based on traditional processing technologies, not reliant on emerging technologies. - Platform - any alkaline calcium containing industrial waste material can potentially be used. - Enabling - removing this traditionally low-value component of waste material opens up opportunities in targeting the high-value components that were originally too low concentration.
