🌍♻️ Progress Update from the WASTE2H2 Project! We’re pleased to announce that Task 3.2 is now in motion, bringing us closer to addressing the global challenges of #plasticWaste and #sustainableEnergy. 🚀 This task focuses on the synthesis and characterization of metal oxide nanoparticles (MO-NPs), which are essential for our innovative approach to tackling these issues. 🔬 What’s happening in Task 3.2? ▶MO-NPs, selected for their catalytic efficiency and microwave absorption capacity, are being tested in #ionicLiquid dispersions, a key step in advancing the project’s research on #cleanHydrogen production. ▶Simulations mimic real-world conditions to identify the most promising combinations of MO-NPs and ionic liquids, which will form the project’s core catalytic system. By combining microwave irradiation with advanced catalytic systems, WASTE2H2 aims to deliver a transformative technology for generating decarbonized chemicals and addressing the enormous challenge of plastic waste management. Stay with us as we work towards a more #sustainable future for both #energy generation and material recovery. 🌱💡
