One more reservoir dries up - not just in the American West. Critical surface water supplies are no longer viable to support economic development, business growth, social well-being, and ecosystem health. The response is not to "mine" groundwater - we need public policies (not voluntary initiatives) to scale water efficiency, reuse, and alternative sources. Water is a "super wicked problem" and requires all stakeholders to solve or at the least "tame" the challenges we face from holding onto the status quo.
