If ChatGPT uses 1 bottle of water to write a 100-word email, it's staggering to think about how much drinking water we've already used to fuel AI. AI has rapidly transformed how we work, create and research. We're starting to see more detailed reports on AI's environmental impact, from the energy required for computing to the water needed to cool data centers. There's still a lot of work to do when it comes to unlocking water's potential in building smart and resilient cities. The same can be said for data centers. AI is not going anywhere, and its capacity and integration into our working systems are only going to grow. But, we can build better. This is an important issue to us, so over the next few months, we'll be shedding light on AI's water footprint plus ideas for how we can help. Flashback to #ASPE2024 in Columbus, OH where we debuted our Wavin A-Pex (PEX-a) as part of our full product line! We enjoyed exhibiting in the heart of the expo floor, next to the Innovation Theater and many of the industry’s top players. One of the highlights was hosting our educational game show, "The Pipe is Right," where attendees got to test their knowledge about plastic pipes. We loved seeing designers, contractors and other plumbing professionals compete to prove who knows more on the job!
