Last night, FMA hosted David DiFiore, CFA from Morgan Stanley, who shared some of his valuable insights and experiences from his work with us. Our members were able to take a lot away from this event, and we would like to thank David DiFiore, CFA, for taking the time out of his day to give us a unique, amazing presentation about his career.

Last night, FMA hosted four professionals at our M&A Panel Discussion at M.I.S.B., where a great discussion regarding the industry, work, and opportunities in M&A was shared with our members. We would like to thank Michael Cannon and Zane Brooks from Rehmann, Mitch Vermet, CFA, CAIA from Bankers Edge Advisory, and Matt Feldman from Blue River Financial Group for taking the time out of their busy days to speak to us. Members appreciated advice relating to professional development and interview skills and the opportunity to network and learn from professionals.

On Thursday, November 8th, select FMA members were graciously sponsored by Yousif Capital Management to attend this year's CFA luncheon. Our students found the opportunities to network and learn more about AI's growing influence in wealth management extremely rewarding. We would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to Yousif Capital Management for their continued support in making these experiences possible!

On Thursday, October 10th, select members met and listened to President Donald J. Trump speak at the Detroit Economic Club. We would like to thank the Detroit Economic Club for extending opportunities such as this to us, and our members were able to take a lot away from this event.

This past Monday, we at FMA, in collaboration with the Wayne State University Economics Club, hosted esteemed guest speaker Gary Torgow, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Huntington National Bank, at Wayne State University - Mike Ilitch School of Business. We would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to Gary Torgow for sharing valuable insights about the work he does, alongside providing helpful knowledge from his experience to questions posed by members.

On September 23rd, a select group of our members were able to meet the Director of the National Economic Council, Lael Brainard, and hear her speak on the White House’s economic expansion plans. Our members thoroughly enjoyed their time at the Detroit Economic Club! 

Last night, FMA held our Industry Deep Dive event, where different facets of the financial industry were discussed with two brilliant former Executive Board alumni sharing their valuable knowledge and advice. A heartfelt thank you to Max O'Rourke and Christopher Yousif for making this event possible, alongside deepening everyone's understanding of the industry. Many valuable insights were taken away by all, and it would not have been possible if not for our amazing guests. Stay tuned for more upcoming events!
