March is International Women’s Month and we’re coming together with our allies to advocate for an end to sexual harassment and to raise donations for WINGS domestic violence shelter. Pursuant to WBAI Bylaws Article 7, Section 1, our Annual Meeting of the Members to elect the Nominating Committee as set forth in Article 4, Section 3, will be in-person on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 from 5:30 - 6:30 PM at 321 South Plymouth Court, 4th Floor West Wing, Chicago, IL 60604. During the Annual Meeting, nominations for at-large representatives of the committee will be made from the floor and elected by a plurality of the vote. You must be a Lawyer Member or Lifetime Member in good standing to cast a vote. Voting will occur electronically during the Annual Meeting. Voting is open only during the meeting. You must be present at the Annual Meeting to vote. Please register using an email address you can access at the time of the Annual Meeting. On this day in 2005, Ellen MacArthur completed her solo sailing trip around the world in 71 days, 14 hours, and 18 minutes, faster than any person ever before by more than a full day.
