By advocating for policies that enhance safety in healthcare and food service facilities, we’re proud to contribute to safeguarding them against infection and improving public health. Our PDI R&D Laboratory in Woodcliff Lake has earned the highest level of My Green Lab Certification, a program run by non-profit My Green Lab. After a comprehensive assessment of our lab practices, equipment, waste, and procurement, we achieved an impressive score of 81% and have joined a global network of certified green labs. The My Green Lab Certification program is the international gold standard for lab sustainability, and we’re proud to be part of it. We Did It! The PDI R&D Laboratory in Woodcliff Lake has earned the highest level of My Green Lab Certification! This achievement is a direct result of our R&D team’s hard work and dedication to prioritizing sustainability. Key efforts have included: 🌱 Sustainability Leadership: We have a dedicated sustainability lead, a Green Team, and a culture of resource-sharing to reduce waste. 🌱 Waste & Resource Management: From proper hazardous waste handling to water conservation and optimizing cold storage, we’re committed to reducing our environmental impact. 🌱 Smart Lab Practices: We’re turning off unused equipment, minimizing printing, and using UV light and biosafety cabinets responsibly. 🌱 Energy Efficiency: We keep windows closed and ensure thermostats are unblocked for optimal energy use.
