Last week, Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce hosted a dynamic and lively panel discussion at Wellnest on mental health and wellness as part of its “Women in Leadership” series. Led by Celeste Alleyne, Microsoft executive and founder of the Women’s Policy Council, the discussion covered strategies for setting boundaries, prioritizing self-care, and fostering work-life balance. The panel featured Dr. Supatra Tovar & Associates, Denise Diaz, The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, and Wellnest President & CEO, Charlene Dimas-Peinado. Happy Veteran’s Day! Today, we honor Jim Balla Wellnest’s Chief Administrative and Business Officer, along with all the veterans and their families who have served our country. Jim shares: “As we celebrate Veteran’s Day, it is a privilege to recognize and thank the veterans and their families who have faithfully served our country and made great sacrifices, with many giving the ultimate sacrifice. Having served honorably in the United States Marine Corps, under the Judge Advocate General Division, Washington D.C., military service was more than a job. It was a commitment of self and family, precious time and sacrifice to defend the values we hold dear as citizens of the United States. I encourage all employees on Veterans Day to take a moment to thank a brave veteran, an active-duty service member, or a veteran’s family member. Speaking personally, I know they will appreciate the expressed gratitude for their service. And a special happy Veterans Day to all our veteran employees here at Wellnest. Thank you for all you do for Wellnest AND our country!”

Last night, members of the Wellnest Executive Leadership team attended the Adventist Health White Memorial Charitable Foundation Gala. We were delighted to join in the celebration! Wellnest partners with Adventist Health White Memorial for our Integrated Care Management program, where we provide whole-person support through a holistic model of mental and physical healthcare. Together, we work toward a shared mission of expanding primary care services and fostering healthier futures for our communities. Today is National Indigenous People’s Day! Wellnest honors and respects the culture and history of the people who have called this land home for thousands of years. We recognize that we occupy land originally and still inhabited and cared for by indigenous people. We are honored and grateful to live and work on these ancestral lands.
