Balancing work, life & wellbeing
About us
WellSort offers simple and engaging digital and hard-copy card sort tools that lead students, employees, and other individuals through a self-reflection exercise that helps them define their priorities and take action to improve their overall wellbeing and work-life balance. Students and employees are stressed, burned out, and often disengaged, and their mental health, wellbeing and productivity are suffering. Colleges and employers are overwhelmed by how to meet their people’s needs, and don’t have the resources to handle them all. We address that by offering a set of affordable, interactive, self-service tools that help students and employees clarify and verbalize their priorities, values and goals, and reach out for the help they need.

Tim Seavey and I are so energized by the conversations we got to have with #studentaffairs professionals at the NASPA Region I conference this week in Burlington, Vermont (one of my most favorite places and Tim's hometown)! From sharing how WellSort can help #highered staff support their students' #mentalhealth, #wellbeing, and #success; to presenting an interactive card sort session for helping college staff and faculty tend to their OWN well-being and #worklifebalance; to attending sessions about how to help #collegestudents connect to programs and to each other to combat #lonliness; to visiting my favorite spots in #burlingtonvermont (I may have eaten at New World Tortilla twice in two days 😂), it was an outstanding event and opportunity to connect and learn. Thank you NASPA Region I, University of Vermont, and Champlain College for hosting such an inspiring and fun conference - looking forward to next year! wellsort.com #naspa #studentwellbeing #studentsuccess #studentmentalhealth #collegesanduniversities

WellSort is here at the New England College Health Association Annual Conference in our hometown of Portland #Maine! We’re proud to be here among the incredibly hardworking and compassionate #collegehealth and #wellbeing professionals serving New England #collegesanduniversities, who work tirelessly to support the health and success of their students. On a day that feels completely upside down, I feel hopeful knowing there are caring helpers like this around us. #healthandwellbeing #mentalhealthmatters #studentwellbeing #findthehelpers

WellSort has been part of the Founder Residency accelerator at The Roux Institute at Northeastern University for 6 intense weeks, but it feels more real now that we’ve got our plaque on the wall! With the tools and resources provided through the program we’re accelerating our development of a different kind of employee benefit, one that gives people the “time and space” to reflect on their wellbeing priorities and find better balance in work and life. On this World Mental Health Day, we at GDIT are recommitting to checking in on colleagues, loved ones, friends and neighbors with the simple but important question “How Are You, Really?” You never know who may be struggling on any given day. So let’s #KeepAsking and stick around to listen to the response. Remember—whether for you or someone else—help is always available. Resources are available at https://lnkd.in/eyyv5pRC

Fall '24 First Year college students: What are they thinking about their wellbeing? Just a few weeks into the semester and we're already capturing some invaluable data about what first year students are saying they want in order to take care of themselves as they transition into college. WellSort is helping engage students in developing self-awareness, resilience, and self-care skills so they can take charge of their mental health and wellbeing and connect with the support resources they need to succeed in college and beyond. How are your students thinking about their wellbeing? Anush Hansen, MA, MPH Tim Seavey #studentwellbeing #studentaffairs #studentmentalhealth
