When we come together, we can do anything 👏 WellSpan team members recently gathered for the United Way of York County’s Women United Annual Symposium. The event featured a panel of women in transportation, while Victoria Diamond, senior vice president of WellSpan's Central Region, offered opening remarks focused on the intersection of access to transportation and the health of our communities. Vital conversation and crucial steps forward are possible when we work together. At WellSpan, we’re focused on driving change.

Learning, growing and flourishing, right here in central Pennsylvania 🌱 WellSpan York Hospital is tapping the talent of York College of Pennsylvania students and faculty to help design a rooftop greenspace at the hospital that will create a healing environment for patients and loved ones. Made possible by a generous donation from the Powder Mill Foundation, the garden will engage students in a sustainable approach to landscape design that incorporates indigenous plant life as well as plant propagation: https://lnkd.in/ecTkrrjc

It’s Giving Tuesday! 💙 When you support WellSpan, you're making an impact on family, friends and neighbors in your community – and we are immensely grateful to all who support our mission. Programs focused on the health of newborn infants, nutrition, mental health, cancer patient help, educational resources for health care professionals and students, expanded access to care, the care of our senior population and more are making a difference daily. We’ve made it easy to support the programs that are special to you and all of your contribution goes to the program you designate. Give today: wellspan.org/giving

At WellSpan, we’re on a mission to help heal the whole person. 💙 The financial strain of cancer treatment is often overshadowed by the fight itself, but that’s where the WellSpan Cancer Patient Help Fund aids patients who meet certain financial criteria. For families like the Rices’, the fund means they have peace of mind and support for things like rent, car insurance and other household expenses – in a time when they need to focus on health and healing. “With each passing day, he grows stronger,” said Ivy Rice, wife to Elwood Rice, “and I see him fighting to reclaim the person he aspires to be." This Giving Tuesday, learn how you can support patients like Elwood: https://lnkd.in/etrw5wTZ
