Many cheers for 75 years! WellSpan Chambersburg Hospital was recently recognized for 75 years of membership in the American Hospital Association. AHA regional executive Michael Draine recently presented the award to WellSpan vice president and WellSpan Chambersburg Hospital president John Massimilla and the leadership team. The hospital, named as one of the 100 great community hospitals in the country by Becker's Hospital Review, is also committed to training the next generation of health care professionals, creating educational opportunities that include a family medicine residency program beginning in 2025. The event featured a panel of women in transportation, while Victoria Diamond, senior vice president of WellSpan's Central Region, offered opening remarks focused on the intersection of access to transportation and the health of our communities.    Vital conversation and crucial steps forward are possible when we work together. Learning, growing and flourishing, right here in central Pennsylvania 🌱 WellSpan York Hospital is tapping the talent of York College of Pennsylvania students and faculty to help design a rooftop greenspace at the hospital that will create a healing environment for patients and loved ones.
