Wenergie exists to accelerate human progress by making Clean, Sustainable Energy accessible anywhere, and at all times. To achieve this, we are reimagining the world's oldest, largest, and most complex machine still in use - The Electric Grid. The energy transition's biggest challenge - and opportunity - lies in matching intermittent energy supply with discretionary demand, to and from increasingly distributed nodes over the network. These Dynamic and Decentralised grids of the future need Dynamic, Decentralised, and Automated management. From our Re.DER gateway module to Kalman Interoperability and Decision Engine, our product suite is designed to aggregate diverse and fragmented Distributed Energy Resources such as solar panels, battery storage, and electric vehicles, and make them work seamlessly together. This helps our users - forward-thinking homeowners and businesses - overcome power quality issues arising from network stresses, and take advantage of demand-based electricity pricing incentives. And it's not just Distributed Energy Resources that we believe should collaborate- Wenergie works closely with Installers, manufacturers, system integrators, and utility service providers, to drive the energy transition forward together.

  • 🌍 The energy transition has introduced a diverse range of Distributed Energy Resources (DERs) such as solar panels, electric vehicles, and battery storage. However, this has resulted in the proliferation of a number of platforms, communication protocols, and data models. 🔑 #Interoperability between DERs is essential for achieving a #netzero future. For a grid entirely powered by renewable energy, DERs must communicate and respond dynamically to balance the demand and supply of clean energy.     ⚡ Harnessing Microgrids: Empowered Prosumer Communities for a Clean & Resilient Electric Grid 🌞 Prosumers lie at the heart of today’s energy transition. As active participants who produce, consume, and export clean energy, they increasingly drive adoption of clean energy and improve grid resiliency. Our vision is to aggregate prosumers and their various  energy consumption, production, and storage assets into “Behind the Transformer” VPP microgrids. Microgrids allow for decentralised management of Energy Assets across a cluster of residential and commercial sites offering incredible benefits: 🔋Enhanced grid stability: Actively managing demand during times of high and low supply, and optimising battery-based consumption during blackouts makes grids more resilient. ☀️Increased Local Renewable Energy Consumption: Shifting consumption during peak solar hours improves self-sufficiency within the community and ensures a greener community. 💰Increased Grid Capacity and Reduced Costs: Upgrading legacy grid infrastructure to accommodate increased consumption and solar export is expensive. Dynamically managing demand and solar export within existing grid capacity eliminates the need for infrastructure upgrades. 🌍Empowered communities: Microgrids foster sustainability, clean energy use, efficient grids, and local ownership and collaboration. They champion a future where energy independence meets environmental stewardship. Sadahalli Project: A real-world example: In Bangalore, India, we deployed our product suite of Re-DER hardware gateways, KalmanAPI, and KalmanOS to connect DERs across two houses fitted with solar panels, batteries, and EVs. Through AI-led energy applications, we actively managed consumption, export, and storage to ensure stability of underlying  power metrics, ensured 24x7 clean energy availability, and eliminated blackouts.
