  • Food insecurity is a huge issue in our community. In our service area, including Bibb, Fayette, Greene, Hale, Lamar, Marion, Pickens, Sumter, and Tuscaloosa counties, food insecurity rates range from 15% to 31% — significantly higher than the national average of 12.7%. These numbers reflect the hard reality many of our neighbors face, but with your support, we can make a difference. The West Alabama Food Bank is committed to fighting hunger and providing essential food to those in need. Together, we can help reduce these numbers and ensure every family has access to nutritious meals. Learn more about how you can help on our website! WestAlabamaFoodBank.org
