  • There are many moving parts to an effective #PeopleAnalytics Team but here are 5 core functions that leaders should be pouring into: 🤝 Consulting: People Analytics consultants ensure that your business goals align with your analytics. Working closely with your HR leaders, execs and more, they identify where data can make a difference in your organization. 📢 Employee Listening: A successful PA team should help leaders to understanding employees and make informed decisions. This involves more than just surveys, it is a continuous process of capturing feedback, analysing employee data and more. 💻 Data Science and Research: It's all about generating that data! A PA team with Data Scientists can help the team to develop and understand insights that make a greater impact on the business. 🤔 Analytics: Analytics are meant to be understood and influence decision making. PA teams should ensure that analytics are accessible, understandable and actionable. 👏 Adoption: Data can only drive change if it's adopted and used in the decision making process. A Change Manager on your PA team can be responsible for integrating analytics tools and insights into the business processes. Which of these functions do you think is most challenging to get right in your organization? Share your experience below! #peopleanalytics #hrfunctions #hrroles #peopledata #datascience source: myHRfuture

2024 - The Year of Taking Leaps and Facing Challenges 🗓️ As the end of the year approaches, I find it natural to be reflective. 💭 I've thought about all of the changes and challenges I faced, what I accomplished and what I want to do differently in the upcoming year. 🥳 This year has been an amazing one; going from a full time employee to owning my own consulting firm has been the farthest thing from easy but it has been so rewarding. I could use this time to talk about my accomplishments but why not get real and talk about some of the changes and challenges? 🧠 Being a new entrepreneur, I had weeks where I worked 80-90 hours and sometimes didn't sleep because I was thinking of my clients and the work they needed delivered. I spent countless hours at my desk without taking breaks, slept for sometimes 3-4 hours and I even started drinking a lot more coffee ☕️just to keep up. On top of that, I struggled with knowing my limits, I would take on extra work the client needed and try to adhere to the timeframe they set, without admitting that I was taking on too much. Looking back, there are definitely lessons from 2024 that I will be taking into 2025, balancing my time and energy are just a few. 🌱 Now that I've got the first year of running WezOps under my belt, these challenges can certainly be overcome! The entrepreneurial road is not easy and it comes with a lot of give and take but I am thankful I took that leap of faith this year. I am thankful for my clients, mentors, family, friends, my team and more, you have helped to make this journey a rewarding one! Next year will be even better! What are some challenges you faced this year? Have you undertaken any new journeys? I'd love to know! #entrepreneur #futureofwork #hr #goodbye2024 #entrepreneurialjourney

  • Have you been using AI to write your posts on LI? 👀 Don’t worry, we aren't judging, we (sometimes) use it too! Studies show that over half of longer English posts on LinkedIn are AI generated. Some of us are even using AI to help fine tune our posts. Even if you haven't used AI yourself, chances are you've seen or engaged with an AI generated post. 💭 LinkedIn even offers premium subscribers the option their own in-house AI edit/rewrite tool. As with most things, we think there are pros and cons to AI generated LinkedIn posts. 🤖 Let's dive into some of these: ✅ PROS: - No more writers block! AI can definitely help you to save time and spend less hours staring at your computer not knowing where to start. - Fix this, change that, it needs more of that, AI allows you to edit that rough draft to your hearts desire. - It gives non-English speakers the opportunity to polish their writing and grammar. ❌ CONS: - We've seen our fair share of repetitive content and common AI buzzwords - No one likes comments that lack sincerity left on their posts - Some AI systems have been trained on materials without the originators permission. How are you feeling about LinkedIn platform and users embracing AI? Can you tell when a post has been generated by AI? #AI #AIWriting #ResponsibleTech #Innovation #FutureofWork
