WGLT is the recipient of a $20,000 grant stemming from a partnership between the Institute for Nonprofit News and the Google News Initiative. The money will fund expanded news coverage of K-12 education in McLean County.

We’re excited to introduce our new local hosts for All Things Considered. You can hear them live from WGLT’s Studio A weekdays from 3-7 p.m. during All Things Considered. Colin Hardman will host Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays. Colin has been a correspondent at WGLT since 2022. He’s a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he was production director and on-air personality for WPGU 107.1FM. Colleen Holden will host Wednesdays and Fridays. Colleen is a junior journalism major at Illinois State University, joining the WGLT staff as a student reporting intern in summer 2024. Colleen is also the news director at the student-run 103.3 WZND Fuzed Radio, also based at ISU.
