Spoke to the International Public Procurement Seminar at the International Law Institute on September 6, 2024 about the importance of a strong procurement policy within a legislative body. There were representatives from Nigeria, Ghana, Sierra Leone, St. Lucia, Saudia Arabia, and South Korea. I believe it was productive and it was interesting to hear their perspectives as well.

Had an opportunity today, on a panel led by Rhode Island Treasurer James Diossa and joined by my colleague Matt Hoekstra, to speak with National Association of State Treasurers (NAST) at their annual meeting in Chicago. We covered what’s happening in Washington DC on issues important to Treasurers and states like developments for 529 plans, muni bonds and shared some exciting news about the ENABLE Act for 529A ABLE plans, among some other issues. #NAST2024
